GX75

7.5kW Xenon Weather Meter

GX75 (7.5kW Xenon weather meter) is designed to artificially reproduce outdoor and indoor deterioration factors such as sunlight, high and low temperatures, rainfall and dew. It exposes materials to these factors and accelerates the deterioration process to predict their lifespan in a relatively short period of time.

 

The weathering technology demanded by Japanese automotive manufacturers and customers from many different industrial fields have established an incomparable xenon long life irradiation system and a direct specimen-surface irradiance-temperature control system.

SX75

7.5kW super Xenon weather meter

This model is capable of super accelerated tests with ultraviolet irradiance three times stronger (180W/m2) than that of sunlight, meeting the expectation of the recent high speed development needs.

 

SX75 also accelerates the degradation of materials by exposing them to simulated outdoor and indoor environments such as sunlight, temperature, humidity, rain and dews, allowing users to estimate the lifespan of materials in a short time period.

 

This model contributes to saving test time and costs, fulfilling the demands of our customers. SX75 is widely used in various industries such as automobile, paint, plastic, rubber, metal, construction, textile and digital color printing.

SX2D-75

7.5kW super xenon weather meter with two independent chambers

Two independent chambers offer you two different testing modes at the same time. For example, light-only test in the right chamber and light-and-water-spray test in the left can be operated in separate. 

(both light sources are Xenon lamps)

 

SX2D-75 can give high irradiance of 180 W/m2, three times higher than that of solar ultraviolet (approx. 60W/m2) developed for the first time in the world.

 

Different light source combination model, SX-MV2D (Xenon & Metaling lamps) is also available.

3kw Metaling vertical weather meter

This model is the answer to the demand for super-acceleration with a vertical metal halide lamp as its light source patented in both the U.S. and Japan. Its design where specimens rotate around a vertically placed lamp allows for more specimens to be placed than models where specimens must be fixed in a single location. It allows for improved distribution of irradiance, temperature and humidity.

FUV (fluorescent UV lamps)

Fluorescent weather meter

Fluorescent UV lamps are traditionally used in weathering tests for evaluating UV-induced degradation of coated surfaces such as cracks and chalking. This instrument is designed for performing cyclic tests of dark ( consideration ) and light tests using fluorescent UV lamps as the light source. The irradiance distribution has been further improved by optimizing the position of the fluorescent UV lamps.

This Quick View System fixes the specimens to the chamber door, allowing forthe viewing of the viewing of the condition of all the specimens in a single motion.
